Wanted: Trees for Elephants: Volunteer Conservationist Program in Khao Yai

Planting trees The beautiful Khao Yai National Park is probably one of the few protected areas left in Thailand; with the potential to sustain a viable elephant population over time. During the dry season; the elephant families will look for food outside the park. The elephants are in need of more living space and food.

Will you help as a volunteer to plant trees for elephants? You will have the opportunity to get involved with a variety of activities including reforestation, interacting with the locals, teaching the local children English and monitoring the wild elephants. Besides for the wild elephants; the Thai people that you will be working with will give you the perfect opportunity to observe the local culture.
