New land acquisition
Just before I returned to the Netherlands I was able to make a donation of 4.000 euro’s on behalf of Bring the Elephant HOME to the Elephant Nature Park. This donation was meant to take care of Sri Nuan and Silver Flower during my absence. But Lek just got good news: a piece of land opposite to the entrance to the Park had been offered for sale at a fair price. There’s some bananatrees growing as well as mango, lychee, rambutan and tamarinde. Growing food more nearby isn’t possible!
