Waiting for permits
Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to find out more about the whereabouts of Nhung Nhing. The only way we can be sure of things is to go to Phuket once again.
But first we have to arrange the necessary papers for Silver Flower and Sri Nuan who are still waiting for us in Surin. Paperwork does take more time and effort here in Thailand as we had hoped for… But fortunately the first permits have arrived today. Silver Flower and Sri Nuan are welcome now in Mae Tang! We still have to arrange permits for the rest of the trip though.
Tomorrow we will go to Ayutthaya to find a nice quite spot close to a temple where we could stay for a while with the elephants on our way to the Elephant Nature Park. Later on we will do the same for Lopburi and Sukhothai. For every resting place we need local permits and separate transportpapers. If all is set we can return to Surin. Because then it’s finally time to buy free Silver Flower and Sri Nuan!!!
